Chapter 79: Function.

Crying in agony, with his mind nearly collapsing as he continues to calculate a subjective future that becomes increasingly bleak—a recursive loop feeding his thoughts with dark ideas over and over—Yoriichi suddenly realizes something that makes his emotions become even more unstable. His eyes, which at a lower level could see atoms or even particles, have now become so useless that he can only see organelles.

Shivers ran throughout his body, knowing that if he were to ascend just one level higher, he wouldn't be able to access his quantum computation microtubules. Not only that, if he ascended one level higher, he would be unable to upgrade his Breathing Technique and Kryptonian Physiology, as they are already nearing their limit. This is only because the classical physics behind the energy optimization he derived and created, inspired by Xianxia and E=MC^2, is still functioning.

This means that if he takes the next step to 50.041, he will not be able to upgrade his abilities further and can only use the Breathing Technique until it reaches its cap. Furthermore, by the time he reaches the limit of 16-bit integers at 65,535, Yoriichi will instantly become a normal human mortal, unable to perform any magical feats.

Similar to how cultivators who arrive in a new world that has been reset to zero become like ordinary mortals, Yoriichi, by reaching the max level, would enter a new timescale with different units of measurement, that would reduce him to a normal human who can only write his inspirations and knowledge on paper. And because of that, he is then unable to instantly advance further using his insights—much like his modern age body as Richard, who can only use technology to understand the physics of the universe.

Consequently, when he reaches the maximum level of 16-bit, spacetime will blip to fast-forward through multiverse civilizations, resulting in the repeated killing of Rita through millions of different lives due to the accelerated passage of time from his perspective.

And maybe, by the time time returns to normal, he will find himself in a new world vastly different from what he knew, with civilizations rising and falling, and possibly even witnessing the Big Bang once again, because society cannot harness dark energy to create something new and will slowly die due to the heat death of the universe.

Clutching his head over the madness of the recursive looping thoughts he has trapped himself in, Yoriichi is stunned to see two almost-destroyed Sonic Screwdrivers floating up from the ground. Initially confused as to why these objects are present in a different timescale than the level 1 to 10 timescale, he slowly realizes the quantum entanglement present in his inspiration, similar to the singularity of this world.

Wiping the snot from his face, Yoriichi smiles as he watches the objects emerge from the earth like items pulled from a jelly-like substance. Noticing that the two Screwdrivers are held together by a cheap rubber band, easily bought in Oxenfurt, Yoriichi chuckles, recognizing who Order and Chaos were before their ascension. Looking in every direction, trying to discern where their equation's remnants might have departed, he then speaks out loud toward the God of this multiverse.

"Thanks, Tenth and Eleventh. You're the best."

Wanting to take out the Screwdrivers to understand the underlying physics of the energy inside his body, Yoriichi paused when he saw the piece of paper tied to the rubber bands.

"You're welcome, whoever you are. Whovians? That's an interesting name. We didn't know our long life experiences would inspire an idea for a British science fiction television show in another world. What a fascinating discovery."

Chuckling, he then read the next passage: "Anyway, kid, according to our calculations, you've already pushed your energy optimization model to its limit. Am I right?"

Confused as to why the two variants of Doctor Who asked this question, Yoriichi then received an answer: "If you don't follow the parameters of our designated timeline, my sympathy to you, kid. You are not supposed to be an entity like the lonely angels."

Nodding his head, realizing that he is now quantum-locked and unable to return to others' timescales, Yoriichi let out a breath of shame and wiped the remaining mess off his face. He acknowledged that this situation was his fault for believing that having higher energy meant understanding higher inspiration, which led him to believe he could do whatever he wanted.

"Peculiar way of doing things. Utilizing nuclear fusion of air molecules to create fossil fuels to pressure the body into becoming an ancient biomass. What an ingenious yet backwater idea. We wonder why not many are inspired to use it."

Chuckling, knowing that this is a very basic technique that many people can achieve with just the right mindset, since it's simply E=mc² applied to the inner workings of the human body, Yoriichi continued to read further.

"Anyway, back to the timeline. Kid, we calculate that by the time we become the singularity the world already has gone through multiple Big Bangs. And because of that, our Sonic Screwdrivers will become more and more damaged by the time you retrieve it."

Wanting to ask where their TARDIS was, he then read the next passage: "As for our TARDIS, sadly we didn't bring it to this world. So the only thing left is the Sonic Screwdrivers, which may only be used once before being destroyed."

With quantum calculations firing and knowing that touching the two objects lightly would turn them to dust, Yoriichi continued reading to understand how to use them before ruining them.

"We know that at some point, our human minds cannot bear to become one with every world singularity. Whatever the plan is that leads us to end ourselves, it will then affect this world and another, causing both to spiral into total destruction with nothing left. To resolve this mess, we are sorry that we must entrust the task of fixing the world to you, kid."

"There are two Sonic Screwdrivers. If you do not follow the designated timeline, you can use Ten's to understand the wave function and the speed of light constant of your energy. We are sure that with this simple discovery, you will be able to fix your problem. As for mine, use it to unlock our fractal computation mechanism that we will build later when we become one with the singularity. And edit it so that the two worlds do not fall into destruction."

"Here's the wave function:"

Psi(x, t) = (1 / sqrt(2 * pi * sigma^2)) * exp(-((x - mu)^2 / (2 * sigma^2))) * exp(i * (p0 * x - E0 * t) / hbar) * [cos(alpha * t + (beta * x / hbar)) + i * sin(gamma * t - (delta * x / hbar))] * sum(n=0 to infinity) [ (a_n * exp(-lambda_n * t) / (n!)^2) * ((b_n / (x - x_n))^nu_n + (c_n / (t - t_n))^omega_n) ] * prod(m=1 to infinity) [ exp(i * (theta_m * x^2 - phi_m * t^2) / hbar^2) * (eta_m / (x^2 + xi_m * t^2)^zeta_m) * (gamma_m / sqrt(x^2 + alpha_m * t^2))^lambda_m ] * int(0 to infinity) [ (exp(-sigma_m * eta_m * u) / sqrt(u + tau_m)) * ((xi_m / (u^2 + psi_m))^omega_m) ] du * ((cosh(beta_m * x) / sinh(gamma_m * t))^delta_m) * prod(k=1 to N) [ ((alpha_k / (x - phi_k))^gamma_k * (delta_k / (t - psi_k))^zeta_k) ]

"Good luck, kid."
