Chapter 52: Chapter 52: Ikaris
Times Square, one of the most bustling streets in the world. The giant screens that should be displaying ads for various fashion products, leading global fashion trends, are now mostly replaced by news completely unrelated to fashion!
Eddie Brock, a rising star in the journalism world, stands before the camera with a serious expression:
"Now, the White-Haired Mutant has grown strong enough to withstand a nuclear blast. Human technology can no longer affect him!
What's worse is that the White-Haired Mutant acts on his whims, completely free by the rules of society! Just a few days ago, he used a terrifying purple sphere to destroy the White House, and afterward, during a battle with the X-Men in the center of Washington, he unleashed a mutant power almost equivalent to a nuclear bomb!
The terrifying repulsive force destroyed several kilometers of area, causing tens of thousands of casualties!
This is the most terrifying terrorist attack since 9/11, and it's hundreds or even thousands of times worse than 9/11!. However, what's shocking is that despite the White-Haired Mutant's reckless nature, he did not kill his supporting protestors. Because of this, many people worldwide have begun to support him, and some even formed organizations that worship the White-Haired Mutant!
It terrifies me to think that humanity might actually entrust its future to this mutant! Could it be that humans are truly destined to become slaves to mutants?

In Times Square, a handsome man stands motionless, staring at the screens that continuously broadcast news about the White-Haired Mutant.
In just a few moments, he learns all about the White-Haired Mutant, the strongest mutant in the world, a reckless slaughterer, the destroyer of the White House, feared by the military, the man who has changed the world order, and who is highly likely to earn the title of "Humanity's Extinction"! Mass slaughter of humans is something the Eternals, who are tasked with protecting humanity, cannot tolerate!
Even though the White-Haired Mutant is not a Deviant, he is still listed as an enemy of the Eternals!
As the strongest warrior among the Earth-bound Eternals, Ikaris takes one last look at the large screen in front of him.
The White-Haired Mutant is standing in mid-air above the crater left by the nuclear explosion, laughing wildly, flipping off the sky!
This mutant cannot be allowed to live, or countless humans will die because of him!
And aren't mutants the descendants of the Deviants?
All the more reason he must die!
Holding a strange device given to him by a SHIELD agent, Ikaris recalls the location where the White-Haired Mutant was last seen and rockets towards the coast of San Diego, California, at incredible speed!
Ikaris moves swiftly, and it isn't long before he reaches Tony Stark's beachside villa. As soon as he arrives, he witnesses the White-Haired Mutant killing several humans!
And it seems that the White-Haired Mutant has noticed him, turning to look at him with a cruel, delighted smile!
Indeed, the White-Haired Mutant must die, or the Eternals will never fulfill their duty!
He arrogantly declares judgment:
"Mutant, you deserve to die!"
Even though the world reports the terror of the White-Haired Mutant, Ikaris still does not believe that he could be stronger than himself. After all, he is the most powerful warrior among the Eternals, fearless of any challenge, let alone a mere descendant of the Deviants—a mutant!

At the same time, aboard the Helicarrier, Nick Fury and Coulson closely observe the scene captured by surveillance satellites.
Ikaris and the White-Haired Mutant have already made contact, and if all goes as expected, a conflict is inevitable!
Nick Fury suddenly asks Coulson:
"Coulson, do you think Ikaris can defeat Alex?"
Coulson responds:
"If he relies only on himself, it's almost impossible for him to win since he can't break through Alex's spatial defense. But with the spatial disruption device created by Dr. Reed Richards, he might be able to hurt the White-Haired Mutant and has a decent chance of winning."
Despite Coulson's answer, Nick Fury remains unconvinced. Although Dr. Reed Richards' spatial disruption device should work, he doesn't believe the White-Haired Mutant will fail.
Who knows what other abilities the White-Haired Mutant is hiding or how much he has evolved recently.

When Ikaris first appeared, Alex recognized him immediately. One of Marvel's cheap version of Superman, after all.
This Ikaris from the Eternals possesses most of Superman's powers—cosmic energy that shoot from his eyes, super strength, super speed, super defense, flight, and so on…
But all of these abilities are weaker than Superman's, and he lacks the bio-field and the ability to grow stronger under a yellow sun.
Even so, he is still powerful, the strongest warrior among the Earth-bound Eternals!
When Alex first saw Ikaris, he was quite pleased. After all, he had a new target to test the full power of his recently upgraded Limitless Cursed Technique.
Those ordinary agents could never fully unleash the power of the Level 4 Limitless Cursed Technique.
But after hearing Ikaris' arrogant words, Alex was annoyed.
Who does this little nobody think he is, to talk to me like that?
Without hesitation, Alex instantly vanished from his spot and appeared right in front of Ikaris!
Ikaris was clearly not expecting Alex to be so fast and was immediately punched in the face. Accompanied by the rumble of black-red lightning, his handsome face distorted as a spray of blood bloomed on it!
He was instantly sent flying, breaking the sound barrier as he crashed into the ocean, creating a massive splash dozens of meters high!
Sinking into the water, the earlier arrogance and disdain vanished from Ikaris, replaced by a single thought:
Who am I, where am I, and what just happened?
With the strong physique of the Eternals, even taking a direct hit from Alex's Black Flash didn't render him powerless.
He immediately bursts out of the water, hovering above the ground, staring seriously at the White-Haired Mutant before him.
The White-Haired Mutant is much stronger than he imagined!
However…
Ikaris activates the spatial disruption device, simultaneously firing cosmic beams from his eyes, launching a sudden attack on the White-Haired Mutant!
The White-Haired Mutant won't expect his spatial defense to fail. Under his cosmic beams, the White-Haired Mutant will be severely injured!
The spatial disruption device distorts the surrounding space, and indeed, the cosmic beams are not blocked, heading straight for the White-Haired Mutant!
Just as Ikaris is about to smile in victory, seeing the White-Haired Mutant about to be pierced by his cosmic beams, he suddenly realizes the White-Haired Mutant is looking at him with a mocking expression. The cosmic beams flying toward the White-Haired Mutant aren't harming him at all; instead, he is absorbing them completely.
