Nidia nodded her head and obediently walked over to him.

She was standing with them earlier mainly because she felt that the three of them were hiding something from him. Somehow, she felt more secure standing with her accomplices close by.

However, when she walked over, especially when Jackson held her hand, a sudden sense of guilt rose in her chest.

Almost instantly, Jackson noticed a thin layer of sweat on Nidia's palm.

He turned around to look at her. He lowered his head and asked as calmly as he could, "Why was your phone switched off?"

Luckily, the three of them had already expected that he would ask that question.

Lavanya and the rest knew that Nidia was out with Rina. If they could not reach Nidia through her phone, they would surely be calling Rina's.

The worst thing was that both of them had their phones switched off, which was unusual.
