Chapter 18: Other Women

The medicine successfully flowed into her throat. This method was efficient and effective.

The woman in Jackson's arms seemed to be cooperating. However, with just a bit left, she suddenly choked on the solution.

Coughing, she lifted her head, her body shaking. At the same time, a white solution flowed out of the corner of her mouth.

Nidia felt her whole body ache. She couldn't help but groan from the pain. Her eyelids were half closed, and she felt weak. With the medicine flowing out of her mouth, she looked like a mess.

Jackson's eyes darkened. The syringe was still in her mouth. She coughed again.

There was still around 1 millilitre left of solution in the syringe.

The family doctor had ordered to feed her an exact amount of medicine. She would burn up once more if she didn't take enough medicine and wouldn't heal completely.
