Chapter 25: Let's Help Jacks Out

Nidia had not slept well. She was furious with Jackson because of her baby's stomach ache, and was further triggered by Jackson's reply to her text messages.

She woke up at 3 a.m. It was still pretty dark out.

After washing up, she changed into casual clothes and went out.

Grandma's trip was ending today, so she had to pick Grandma up later. Due to cheap plane tickets, the flight arrived during midnight. On her way to the airport, Nidia's phone chimed once. She pulled it out as she found a place to sit in the bus. It was a spam message by some random number, 10086.

She deleted the spam message.

After that, Nidia came to notice a message from Jackson from last night.

[Please? If I can't take care of my own child, then tell me, what can I do?] Nidia was still furious, so she immediately replied to him out of spite.
