In the car, Zhang Liling opened her purse and took out the familiar necklace before passing it Fang Bingwen.

"Mr. Fang, please help me out." Her soft voice requested as her eyes flashed him a sweet smile.

Seeing the necklace he gifted her dangling in front of him, his eyes went to her bare neck and back to the chain in her hand.

"Why do you like this chain so much?" He asked as he took it from her hand.

He can't even remember how many times he had asked her that same question. Maybe he couldn't help it that it was always wih her.

"Because you gifted it to me," came her usual response as she turned her back to him.

As his hands went over her neck, Zhang Liling felt the cold sensation of the chain resting on her neck, while at the same time, the warmth seeping from his fingers.
