Chapter 2: Rain drops
She quietly looked out the window of her small bedroom. The sound of the rain made her feel at ease. With everything she had been through, the sound of the rain was the only the thing that made her at ease.
'Only 9 more days', she thought. She had turned 18 today. Yes, today was her eighteenth birthday and she was happy about it. She graduated from school on March and now it was August, meaning she would escape from there. She could live her life.
She had secretly tried out for Imperial Law University, the best law university in China and last month she got a letter of her telling she was accepted under full scholarship.
The reason she wanted to escape from that house was her uncle and aunt.
Chu Hua's parents died when she was 2 and her elder sister was 5. Their parents left them a hige amount if money behind. At first no one wanted to take the two orphans in. Their paternal grandparents had never accepted their mother but they heard about their two granddaughters, they took them in. Soon the news of the two girls having enormous amount of money was spread.
Wu Yang Yang and his wife Wu Li Xing, the far distant relative of Chu Hua's mother, heard about it. They rushed over coming for thier neices. Of course their grandparents didn't agree to them coming all of a sudden and saying them as their guardians.
The couple took them to the court and in the end took the younger sister Huan Chu Hua, with the order of Chu Hua and grandparents nor her sister never to meet again. Their uncle had bribed the judge for the statement.
Now 16 years later, she doesn't remember her sister names nor her face not how her parents look nor how their grandparents look and most importantly she doesn't know how happiness looks like.
Her uncle and aunt didn't care for her, they just wanted her money and then slowly they started treating her like a slave.
"Chu Hua! Come here right now!" her aunt screamed.
'What does she want now?'
She stood up and looked herself at the mirror. She was a natural beauty. She had long brown hair that reached her waist and was silky as the golden fleece. She had blue eyes of her mother and red rosy lips. Her face structure was perfect, she maybe was the most beautiful creature on this earth.
She applied a concealer in her beauty bone where a black bruis was. She had gotten that bruise from her uncle last night when she mistakely threw his coffee thinking he was done with it. She couldn't show the bruise openly as they would say that she wad turing to show them and the world and she would be beated again, so she was forced to hide it.
As much as that beatings and bullying, she was never sexually assaulted by them, yet. Who knew what they could do to her in the future.
"Chu Hua!" the devil screamed again.
"Coming." she replied and ran out the door.
