Chapter 30: Someone Worth Fighting For

Surrounded by the laughter of the rich and famous, Natalie walked with her head down through a busy shopping street. Her sense of not belonging in this part of the world increased until it became suffocating. Her hands were tightly wrapped around herself, trying hard not to get noticed as she continued to shed angry tears.

Was Alonso trying to settle his scores with his father by bringing his worst nightmare and calling her his daughter-in-law? Was that why he was so sure that Natalie was the perfect woman for him?
