Synopsis
When Xujing first meets Sucheng, she keeps him in his heart. However, her inferiority complex stops her from confessing her love. One day, she sees Sucheng together with another girl and she chooses to run away cowardly. From then on, they start to drift apart.
Many years later when they meet again, he is still the same person, but she's no longer the old her; she only says a sentence, “Sucheng, it has been a long time.”
Only when Sucheng embraces her once again and says, “Xujing, there was never anyone else; I have loved you all this while,” did she realise that he likes her. Sucheng and her, despite being in love with each other, let ten years slipped by. Luckily, he has been searching for her and she has also been waiting for him.

M confused..story is completely different from synopsis..even character names are different...I choose to read dis story because of synopsis...is it only me or anyone else has also noticed.
Great start so far. I haven't yest finished the other chapters but the story seems to be quite interesting. Hope that the development would be good. You guys should give this piece a try and read it.
This book was very interesting to read. It kept me wanting to come nsck and read it. I would like to know how the rest of it ends. The charscters were very interesting as well.
Okay although it’s a very interesting story, the synopsis doesn’t align with the story plot at all. I’m not sure why. I like that the author acknowledges very realistic events that happen in the world and puts them all in the story but I think it’s a little all over the place. But as always, each chapter leaves you wanting to know more!

I am looking forward to this novel to be updated.The characters are good Male lead has complex and due to events in past he is twisted .. female lead can sympathize with him but he still doesn't forget how bad he can be..not easily swayed ...I want to see how their relationship develops and his character development too
The synopsis doesn't match the story. This is not what I was expecting to read. From what I've read so far, the storyline is mad twisted, about a mentally unstable male lead and an abducted female lead who gets abused by him and is a replacement for his ex.

First of all, the synopsis and the actual story is not the same story. I think the author made a mistake. I was excited to read the story because of the synopsis but when I read it I realized that it was not the story as described based on the synopsis.And the story is not the genre that I enjoyed reading.The ml is such a jerk duh. I cannot stand it.BUT the story is great.It's just not my style. I think it's kinda creepy when the fl got kidnapped(not really kidnapped but like she can't leave the ml's place) just because she resembles the ml's ex. So far there's no rape but ALMOST haih.If you are into this kind of book you should try this out because the book is nicely written.

I'm not sure if I'm reading the same novel as the description. The characters are named differently. I was expecting a warm romance novel, not a kidnapping romanticized by the author. The FL is kidnapped and trapped in an island by the ML(?). Not a good way to start a novel really.

The synopsis is for a different story. This one is about an 18 year old girl who was drugged and about to be sold as a sex slave by her new stepmother and manages to escape. Only to be 'rescued' by a man who's fiancee left him. She looks a bit like the fiancee, so he decides that she now belongs to him and locks her up in his house. I have only read the first few chapters and I don't want to read more.
After reading up to 39 chapters, I feel like maybe not voting for this book. Something tells me it might be like "Good Morning Mr Dragon" so I might be considering if I want to continue.
The summary for this story is completely wrong. The FL is Weiai and the ML is Shaobai, not the names mentioned in this summary. So far it seems Weiai is not biologically related to her father and that may be why her stepmother tries to sell her off. Shaobai seems a bit too possesive of Weiai. I don't like how he's treating Weiai, it's like he sees her as a substitute for Tong Hua, the girl he loves and is possibly Weiai's sister.

I am intrigued by this story however I feel like it could have used more detail to explain certain events to make it clear on what is happening to the reader.
What a creepy story. Girl gets abducted, sort of develops STOCKHOLM SYNDROME, not to mention she is objectified by the male lead and humiliated numerous times, but of course, none of that matters because our ML is earth-shatteringly handsome and helplessly rich. A good foundation forms electrifying chemistry in my opinion, and so unfortunately since this seems to be the basis of the story of how they met and for the reader, I’m afraid I’m going to have to drop it... even if it turns out the author pulls some rubbish about them being childhood lovers, or her being the original Tong Hua, and how they were destined, I felt violated, as a woman, in some parts reading this novel, although props to the author for not putting any god-forbid raping scenes SO FAR. Otherwise, I must say it is a very well written story that was quite an interesting read in terms of how she introduced characters and plot... it’s just unfortunate that I’m not a fan of these types of plot.
