"You dared to try to take one another's lives on Aquilan grounds. By so doing, you dishonour Aquila, and you dishonour me.

Explain why I should not hang you both right now!", King Acqueious thundered.

Florence spoke up.

"Oh great king, I sincerely apologise for my actions. I was overcome by my rage when I saw the Havillian nobleman fraternising affectionately with my betrothed!"

All the courtesans in the throne room gasped in horror. It was a terrible allegation.
