Chapter 33: You must suffer the same fate

She shook her head at first but then realized he could not see it, because he held her head in an awkward position so she had no choice but to answer out loud.

"I guess not. I want to take my son and escape to my homeland."

Her teeth gnashed as she spoke because now he still had a fistful of her hair entwined around his wrist tightly. 

Until she was forced to look him in the eyes because her face felt smushed against his shoulders. 

"Escape? Forget it. I will never allow you or my child to leave my side. You have been nothing but a bloody nuisance. Forcing me to leave the warmth of my bed to run naked in public out in the cold night air."

"Since you will not let me leave, are you going to kill me then?"

"Even though I could kill you if I wanted to, it is not my intention for you."

Kaoma did not realize she waited with baited breath for his response until she sagged against his nude body with her relief.
