Chapter 3: Sorcery

We are soon arriving to the destination where we will stop, though from what I hear its just a place for us to stay for a while, the driver named Krill I quickly befriended because he were the only person I could speak to— "So what is Alex's most defining trait?" Krill gave it some thought since it was hard to tell which part of Alex were the best specifically because he seems far too unreachable, but by squinting enough one could see it, "Its really hard to tell, but I'm guess Its his wisdom in battle and charisma" The charisma part I could get easily but the first not at all "What do you mean by 'wisdom in battle' like a tactician?" Krill shook his head and replied "No no I can't exactly tell myself but he's cultivated his wisdom to the point that most of the time he knows what the opposition will do" Ahh well I don't know how that works——

——We arrive to the camps where the horses and everyone else rests in the tent, "I'll be going off now Mr. Krill" I tell him but he already seemed to be off, and so I jumped off the caravan and begin to walk off looking for the next person I know: Alexander, entering the one tent that stood out I entered to see Alexander chatting with a person "Sorry to interrupt Mr Alex, but where should I stay?" Alexander stood up and looked over the person in front of him "Speak of the devil, I'm told you already met krill" I look at him and recognize the person before me "Yes I have" Alexander nods and the says "Good, he's a powerful mage called a 「Speaker」, he knows magic lost to man's language, he'll teach you the fundamentals of magic if you plan on staying in the 「Enclave」" I have a few thoughts. ". . You make the enclave sound scary" Alexander then laughs out loud thinking about it "It might actually be more dangerous than everywhere else now that I think about it" "Ehh?!" My face turns pale, this entire time I were being taken to a place more dangerous! how shady is this place?! "Y-Yes I'd like to learn magic" I tell them with a voice shaking in the suspenseful fear of whatever kind of place the emerald enclave is.

The snow storm landed in the camp so we had to stay in the coalition's camp site for a a week and a few days. Krill taught me all about speaker magic, its basically the fundamentals of every language and runic magic, and since it were snowing I first learned to control flames, then the wind, the waters, the earth, and soon I managed to animate inanimate objects. We then spent the next and last day crafting my mystic code or a mage's weapon.

The wand is ready all we need is a catalyst, a core of sorts "Alright Seraph, we'll summon a spirit creature and turn that to a catalyst" I stand up and close the grimoire and hang it in my belt, "Okay" I go to the shelves and browse the jars with items in them, "We need a something to bind the spirits in right?" Krill then pulled open a chest and pulled out the scrolls for the summoning "Thats right, feel free to pick one up, I'll be waiting outside" and as he said Krill left the tent, now forced to look for one. . "There's items of all kinds here, a tail, eye, crystals? no probably a scale" I then eye a jar with a single feather in it, everything else looked great and all but I don't think I can carry them, "Feather it is" and so I left the tent carrying the jar, Krill then clapped his hands "Oh the feather! great choice" I tilt my head to the right now confused. "Huh?"
