She too is shocked, but not as much as he and Grand Lords; she knew her student and lover enough secrets not to get shocked as this, but still killing nine Grimms at once is quite a shocking thing to do, even for a Michael.

"Seventeen of yours have been killed, Rhaek. Do you want to say something?" taunted the old woman; till now, it was taunting her, and now, it is her turn.

Rhaek did not reply; it was truly shocked. It was not expected Zaar to appear; it thought the old snake had dealt with him, and even if it were not killed, it would be good as killed with parts of the old snake inside him.
