Chapter 44: Calm Down, Is It Really That Big?

Nushi was writing something down in her book, and I leaned over to look, but there was nothing on the page and the pen looking thing she had wasn't even making a mark, but I could see that she was actually spelling something.

"Do you mind?" Nushi said as she pulled her book away from me and then closed it. "You asked me not to look in your head, and now you're looking in this new journal!"

"Wait… journal? That is The Story, you special System power that I gave you! Also, I can't see a damn thing on those pages anyway, but you are right, and I would wait. So, what do we know?" I asked as I stepped over to Mary, reaching out a hand to her.

She turned to me and smiled, then Mary reached her hand and took mine, slithering over behind me. I squatted down enough for her to grab my shoulder and then wrap around me as I stood.
