Chapter 66: Leaving

The people from the village were still in fear and thinking about what was happening there. As they stayed in their homes, the men returned that night and calmed their sorrow-filled hearts.

Aragon and his aunt went to their home.

It was just a few hours away from morning, but the village went to rest at that time. After a very chaotic day, all of them were now sleeping.

A few days passed, and the incident at the hall was forgotten by everybody as they went on with their daily lives. Rhaet had told them to forget about the matter at the hall. As they were obedient followers, they did as they were told.

After the departure of Vaises and his men, a few wagons came with a lot of gold and other materials that Rhaet had asked for. It was promised to him, and he was immensely satisfied with Vaises.
