Chapter 1121: Reunion of the Trio

Briefly shooting a knowing glance at the two that greeted him, Valyr soon let out a bit of laughter as he replied back, "Has it really been that long since we last met?"

"In any case, I'm really glad to see you two again. Hal. Vera."

"So are we," said Vera in response, to which Hal nodded in agreement.

Continuing to grin as he looked at the two of them, Valyr went ahead and looked at the two in greater detail, comparing their current appearances to what they looked like the last time they were at the inheritance.

Unsurprisingly, with how long they've been fighting at the frontlines, it went without saying that the two looked a bit worse for wear. 

Whether it was the expressions on their faces, or the pieces of armor they wore, both were affected by the vicissitudes of time, as well as the harshness of the battlefield itself.
