Even the earth shook… 

'This is so goddamn bad' Jack couldn't help but curse as the hundreds of bloodthirsty lizards charged him. Their claws were raised, and their eyes glowed with ferocious greed. 

At this moment, there was no trace of fear in them… 

"Annihilate the 12th Legion, and we'll be heroes!" 

"No more Arcane Lizards! No more!"

"Kill that evil bastard!" 

Anyone else would have long run. Anyone else would have shat their scales. Anyone else would have taken their legs and escaped. And yet, Jack did the opposite!

Instead of cowering, he went at them with the drive of a single mother hunting for a man on Tinder! He even moved his head back, laughing with rapt abandon.
