Chapter 293: Victory

Max had a broken left leg, crushed right ankle, multiple wounds to the stomach and a red HP bar on the cusp on touching 0, hence when an angry Mazda hobbled towards him Max knew he was fucked. 

Max was in no position to fight his opponent, as he was in no position to use his most significant weapon of agility and perception. 

As things stood a single attack from Mazda would send Max to the afterlife and he had little to no chance of evading the attack. 

The positive part on the other hand was that Mazda's position was not much better than Max. 

His HP was also nearly 0 and he could also potentially die from a single attack from Max if it landed fair and square. 

The only difference now was that Max had no offensive capabilities either with his mana down to near zero which meant that he had to rely on the Agni-Astra or his bloodline ability to launch an attack.
