Tracking a person's location with the wind was one of the most high-tier technique in the game itself. This is especially more so in first-person games whereby the player is unable to view his character from the third person's point of view. In first-person games, the player would have to rely on sound in order to execute such a technique.
It was said that in the shooting games back in the early days, there were experts that could determine the enemy's location based on the sound of their footsteps and determine the type of weapon being used based on the gunfire. Having this sort of talent as a player was equivalent to using a hack.
However, those were just rumours. Furthermore, the actual tracking with the wind technique would require both players to be within a certain distance of each other. Gone With The Wind was more than 30 metres apart from Spring Halo. Given this distance, even Wang Yu might not be able to execute the technique.
