"Report! Prince Leon and Prince Carter are increasing their soldiers bordering both the east and west sides. We are completely trapped within the walls." A commander knight was kneeling on one knee as he reported the situation to the king.

Besides him, there were other loyal nobles and supporters of the King as an audience. Their faces were grim and filled with confusion as they didn't know why the prince would choose rebellion at this time.

As for the King, Francis Norton, he was beyond furious at their action, but his face remained calm on the surface. There was not an ounce of change in his facial expression.

Being a king for so long, controlling one facial expression was a must to prevent anyone from reading him.

"Has there been any news of Princess Kate yet?" Francis Norton ignored the report and asked for the whereabouts of his beloved daughter.
