After everyone left the throne room, Emperor Melvin used a golden scroll that, according to Lady Margaret, was a unique quality one-time-use scroll with a Seventh Rank space spell stored on it.

The spell isolated the throne room in its separate space, making it impossible for anyone to spy on them or enter the room for its active duration.
