Chapter 419: Another Ploy

"Gwen, where are you going so late in the evening?" Helena held Gwen's hand.

"Mother, I have some business. Don't worry I'll be back soon," Gwen said.

"But where? The Royal family will be here anytime soon. Don't you want to go and greet them?" Helena pressed.

"No, we need to lay low till the wedding. Also, you don't have to know that. And don't tell, it will be a problem if anyone finds out," Gwen pulled her hand from Helena's grip and walked away.

As soon as she left the main gate a maid started to follow her.

"You think you can keep an eye on me all the time?" Gwen who was fully aware of the person following her scoffed.

The maid following her was ordered to do so by Liliana.

She was wearing a very simple dress which she borrowed from a maid. The dress made her mix with the common crowd easily.

Gwen hastened her steps and in no time she shook off the person following her.
