Chapter 1: Backstory
Bruce was pretty average, although he was shorter than most of the other kids his age he didn't get any problems for it. He was walking home from school like a normal day, he opened the door and yelled to his brother Dylan "I'M HOME!" but he got no response. He walked up to his brothers room to see if he was home, he was, but he laying in a pool of blood with a knife in his hand. It was obvious what he had done, killed himself. Bruce knew why, Dylan had been getting seriously bullied at school, Bruce could see bruises on his brothers body, but he didn't know how to react, he wanted to cry and hit something at the same time, but he chose to cry. He and his brother were very close, so it hurt him to see him like this, laying in a pool of blood. This had changed him, he felt something from inside coming out, like a demon it felt, but then his body started changing, it turned dark red and he started getting taller and more buff. He felt something weird growing from his head he felt his head and he felt horns he quickly looked into a mirror and he could see a dark red demon staring back at him....
(This part is from Dylan's perspective hours before his suicide)
He was walking through the halls to his next class, until he saw someone he hated, Jake and his friend Oliver, they would constantly call him names and beat him up between classes. Dylan being small and pretty much defenseless, making him an easy target for bullies. They had bullied him for years, their insults only getting worse and worse. They told him "Go kill your self ****ing loser". He responded with "Guess I will then". He really meant what he said, he was gonna go home and kill himself, he had no regrets. He felt bad for what would happen when his brother found out, but he did it anyways. He made it home and found a butcher knife his father owned, walked up to his room, put the knife to his neck, and cut into his neck. He felt warm blood pouring out of his body, but then his vision went blurry, and then everything stopped.
