"I don't understand," Arrja murmurs. "How is that possible?"

Queen Jahana glances at her sympathetically. "It is that way."

"But he cheated on me." Arrja snaps at her, "And you are saying that he loves me back? Is this a joke?"

"Love is quite simple for our kind." Queen Jahana leans back and sighs. Her movements are slow and lethargic. "Love is too complicated for humans."

If you love someone, you should be with them. Arrja thinks that it is that simple. Why do people want to be with more than one person? Surely, one can love more than one woman or man. But there are different kinds of love: love for family members, love for friends, love for celebrities etc. But she can't even imagine loving someone else the way she loves… no, she loved Mister.
