Qi Hui could sense his feet growing cold. He looked at Prof Liu and said imploringly, "Prof Liu, please give me another chance. I will apologize to Mr. Wei."

"It's too late." Prof Liu spoke without the slightest warmth in his voice.

Qi Hui parted his lips and continued. "You knew about this, but…"

Before he could finish his sentence, Prof Liu interrupted him. "Enough, Qi Hui. When the plagiarism scandal happened in your department, I already gave you a second chance. This only happened because you didn't learn your lesson. You asked for it."

What did Qi Hui think he was doing? He was trying to bite back and drag him down for this.

Prof Liu veered his eyes without so much as looking at Qi Hui.
