Chapter 82: Lost.

Priyanka sat next to him. The guests teased them but he did not react. Karan did not act shy at all. She couldn't raise her eyes because of their constant comments on how she looked good sitting next to him.

"Perfect couple" one of the women admired. She gave them the gifts and went back to her spot. Other guests came as well and did the same. It was a beautiful moment. As soon as the rituals finished, Karan left for the office. 

Priyanka sighed. He had many problems to deal with. Nobody in his family understood that. They were dining comfortably without checking on their child. 

"Priyanka" Her mother-in-law called. The guests were leaving. They wanted to see her once again. She went to meet them and wished her a happy married life. 

She wondered if it was going to work that way. Her marriage was guided by rules and by next year, it would come to an end. The family was going to be disappointed, especially his mom.
