Eric looked out the window, sitting comfortably in a wheelchair, enjoying the sun rise that rose from the horizon. Gently, the golden rays of the sun touched his handsome face. The face was still thin, but looked brighter .

Eric saw the waves crashing, seagulls looking for food on the surface of the sea. The stretch of white sand tempered by the sun made Eric remember the heat of the desert at that time. Unknowingly tears spilled from the corners of Eric's eyes.
