Chapter 19: Multiverse Travel
The next day I woke up groggy from all the fun I had with my girls who were currently sleeping beside me with a beautiful smile. I smiled at them and gave them a forehead kiss and warped myself so as not to disturb their sleep and made my way to wash myself and freshen up and prepared some light breakfast for them by the time they made their way downstairs to have breakfast alongside me.
"Alright girls what's your plan today." I asked.
"Hmm, I'll just research more things so I could replicate them especially those fantasy things you showed me it could really boost the overall prowess of us and our allies." chimed Momo.
"I'll just relax today and come with more uses of my quirks, like you said your imagination is your only boundary." replied Jiro.
"Alright, today Toru would be visiting with her parents, she informed me yesterday. I suppose to thank me and for the artifact I created for them."
"Do call us when they come."
"Alright, love you." while giving them a quick peck on their lips and made my way to my workshop.
'Alright, I could always create some artifacts to cancel their quirk like eraser but what if I closed the very source from where they get the energy for the quirk.' I thought amused.
During my research I found something that during 200 years ago the world experienced a cosmic storm which led the people to awaken their quirks, the first to experience the glowing baby who had the most miserable fate I could think of.
Now many would think why the world doesn't know about this cosmic storm. It's simple they didn't had the technology for it not until they have the magical aspect as well to track it. How did I know? because there's still some remnants of it all across the globe.
Well many can guess what happen. The same thing that happened to the Fantastic Four, everyone opened a very miniscule source of energy to a different dimension that grants them the energy to use their quirks. Well it's a very broad subject and what I have scraped is just mere theory for now and just a millimeter tip of the biggest iceberg in the universe.
I spent the next two hour immersed in my research with a cup of coffee theorising various possibilities and the ways to improve the utilisation and training of different types of quirk no matter how worthless or destructive they are and ways to contain quirks and in rare cases get rid of it or sealing it or forcefully awakening one's that I didn't realise that I was being observed by three girls with red faces and two adults with a wry smile looking at one of the girls.
*Ahem
I broke out of my stupor when I heard someone cough to attain my attention and there they were Toru and the girls along with her parents.
"Ah, sorry there, didn't realise you people were there."
"Ah, it's al.. alright Tatsu, infact you l.. looked more appealing" said Toru with a complete red face with the other two nodding there heads as well.
"Glad to know that I could appeal to my girls when working."
Hearing me, Toru became completely red and started blushing while mumbling 'his'
"Anyway, nice to meet you both Mr and Mrs. Hagakure, as Toru would have told you both that I might have a solution for your condition, so let's get immediately to it as I can guess you all would be really hopeful for it."
"Yes, Thank you Tatsuya and also for being there for my little bundle, she always keeps talking about you" said Toru's mom.
"Waahh.. you took my Toru from me waahh.." suddenly outbursted Toru's dad.
"DAD!!" screamed Toru embarrassed and I looked at it with a wry smile.
"Anyway, I've created these bracelets that could temporarily block the gate that provides our quirk the energy to activate. You can activate it with this button but I would advise not to use it for long extended period of times at most for 5 days as you can consider the energy being stopped akin to a dam stopping a river from flowing so..."
I was cut off from my rant with the sudden hug of three people who were silently crying and let them be. After letting them cry for some time I lead them to the living room and served them some refreshments.
"Anyway, Toru I studied your quirk and I found that it's not exactly invisibility like your parents instead its like a energy shield that is constantly enveloped over your body hence your high durability. Anyways if trained correctly you can conjure energy shields" 'like a certain blonde from F4' I internally added.
We then made some small talks and had our lunch together before they left and the girls made their way back to their rooms and me back to my lab again in my own world theorising different possibilities of quirk development and also probably answer to the question I have had since my birth.
