Chapter 3: Ch. 3 The Beginning

I looked at the crowd forming at the alleyway with the sounds of explosions setting off. Everyone stood by and watched as the kid struggled against the slime. Even the heroes, whose job is to protect and save civilians, weren't moving.
They didn't bother to try, but I guess I couldn't fault them. Bakugo is using his quirk, which is dangerous, and not to mention, the slime is immune to physical attacks.
As I saw the heroes hesitating on the sidelines, I watched as Midoriya ram towards the villain.
" Hey, stop that kid!" One of the heroes shouted as he watched midoriya throw his bag at the slime.
I looked to my side to see a scramy man looking at Midoriya.
' All might... he looks exhausted...' I thought as I saw the man in a dilemma, and just as I saw his eyes resolving, I tapped his shoulder.
" Are you alright, sir?" I asked, " You look exhausted. Maybe you should see a doctor." I smiled as the man realized there was someone close to him.
And before when I could even speak, I looked back at Midoriya clawing at the slime as he tried to help Bakugo.
" Excuse me, it seems my friends are in trouble." I tapped the man's shoulder before moving towards the alleyway.
" Kuro! You're already have three–"
" Yeah, yeah, I'll hear it later." I shrugged the heroes hamd off my shoulder and walked into the Alleyway
And just as the villain took notice of me, I allowed the shadows enveloped me, bringing me into a different realm, the shadow realm.
' I should make it quick before it starts!' In this realm, I could see the outside world. It felt like I'm running in a dream, and I'm using every strength I had to walk in this realm and get behind the villain.
To the outside, it would seem I teleported behind the slime.
" Wha–!?" The villain exclaimed as I grabbed Bakugo and Midoriya from the slime.
' Shit...' I looked foot to see a shadow clinging onto my foot. A chill ran down my spine as I quickly ran back to the crowd and thew midoriya and Bakugo to the ground.
Luckily, the sun was able to purify the shadow off my foot, and I regained feeling to my foot.
" DETROIT SMASH!!" All might suddenly smashed the villain as I realized I couldn't defeat the villainous time since I was too focused on Midoriya and Bakugo as well as the shadow on my foot.
The weather changed from his fist as rain poured from the sky. I used this chance to escape from the heroes.
I gave one last look at All Might and the two students before disappearing through the crowd.
A few seconds later, I arrived at the orphanage and saw the children outside playing.
" Big brother!! It's raining!" Toshi and the others jumped on me as I caught them in my arms and held the others with my cat tail.
" Haha! Yes, I see that. Now, let's go back inside before you all catch a cold." I smiled as I brought the children inside and dried them one by one with the help of a shadow clone.
Shadow clone, one of the many techniques I learned myself when practicing my quirk.
With these shadow clones, I managed to help Mother Teresa with chores and cooking around the house along with babysitting the children. And mother Teresa would only watch over them during the day when I'm at school and put them to bed while I study and train.
I looked at my study book and heard the door opening to see Mother Teresa entering.
" Kuro, you're not sleeping?" She asked with concern written over her face. I mustered a smile and replied.
" I'm alright, Mother Teresa. If I'm going to U.A, I'm going to study to my fullest."
" I know you will be able to pass. But make sure you are well rested, here some late night snacks." She placed a plate of sandwiches on my desk before leaving.
" Thank you..." I replied as I took a bite and continued my studying.
A few minutes later, my door creaked open.
" Big Brother?" I looked to see Alice and a few kids looking at me with their innocent eyes.
" Sigh, Yami is right there. Take him." I sacrificed Yami, who was peacefully sleeping on my bed before being dragged by the little demons.
" Meo–!"
I smiled as they took Yami into their bedrooms before I continued to study.
Months passed as I continued to better myself and I stood outside while Mother Teresa stood by the door.
" I'll be fine Mother Teresa. There's no need to worry." I reassured her as I stopped the kids from exiting the house.
" Just do your best Kuro." She smiled.
I walked away and went towards U.A academy for the entrance exam.
' Finally, after so many years. It's starting!!'
