Yuta had never seen how a Sukuna's finger looked like but it was very apparent the moment he saw one lying in front of him.
It was creepy looking and for some reason looked completely burned. Like even barely looking like a finger at this point. But the powerful curse energy emitting out of it was a dead giveaway that this was indeed his finger.
Yuta picked it up and put it in his pocket for the time being, not wanting to let some random curse passing by pick it and turn it into a special grade.
'Hmm, now its clear why suddenly a special grade even appears here, but is getting hands on a Sukuna's finger is that easy?
I doubt that.
So how the hell did that curse spirit get his hands on one ?' Yuta pondered but his pondering state didn't last for long as he heard a sound.
"Interesting, what happened to the cursed spirit ?" suddenly someone said, making Yuta's hair stand on end, making him completely alert.
He knew this voice, though he hadn't heard it much but the few times he did he remembered the distinct heavy feeling it brought him.
"Sukuna," Yuta muttered under his breath, cursing almost at the timing of this happening.
"Yes brat, tell me what happens to that cursed spirit. Did you kill it?" Sukuna asked, apparently he heard even that whispering Yuta did to himself, making him completely shut his mouth just in case.
According to him, the current Sukuna should be by all means stronger than the special grade he just fought.
He can heal and more than anything, Yuta has to hold back to not seriously injuring Yuji.
'Shit, this is the worst timing. Especially when I have someone on his finger. If this guy gets another one of his fingers in his hands then it's an even bigger problem. I rather him not power up any further.'
Thinking this Yuta calmed himself down, not directly answering but keeping his cool
"Where is Yuji, how did you take control ?" Yuta asked.
"The brat is out, now answer me. What happened here." Sukuna didn't look like he was in the mood for doing ideal chat. Making Yuta just curse even more.
"Well, isn't it simple? I killed the spirit." Yuta replied, not further indulging in the fact of how he did so. Making Sukuna narrow his eyes as he looks at Yuta.
'Hmm, the boy didn't seem like lying. But how I can't sense any kind of curse energy emitting from the boy.' Sukuna pondered. He had to come out to see what happened to make his soul cry out in pain like that.
Not getting any answers after looking at his domain or state of curse energy, the only thing he could say was that it had something to do with one of his fingers.
Seeing Yuji wasn't able to focus as his body was battered even more, Sukuna came out. Though to use this body, he had to heal the body, making Yuji able to take control if he realised it.
it's just that Yuji was too shaken by that last attack to concentrate on suppressing Sukuna's personality from taking control.
"Hmm, interesting. Tell you what. Give me my finger and I will consider letting you live." Sukuna said in a nonchalant tone, making Yuta go on defensive and at the same time making him a little mad.
"How about you go back to sleep like a good little leech and give Yuji control back, and I will consider not kicking your ass to kingdom come," Yuta replied in irritation.
'Fuck it, there is no point playing nice with this guy. The fight is inevitable in his kind of situation. If so then why should I let this guy mock me? If nothing then I will just take out the big guns.' Yuta got ready, no longer planning on holding back to hide his power.
'Gojo said not to use power until it's absolutely necessary,
Well here this is Necessary.'
Hearing this Sukuna actually paused for a few seconds and then smirked.
"Oh, been a while since someone talk to me like that. Fine, I will play along. I too am interested in how you are hiding that Curse Energy of yours." Sukuna replies and then he almost disappears from his place. Running directly at Yuta.
Yuta long sense this with Spider-sense and had this Sharingan open just in case.
So he was able to dodge the attack coming his way. But what he dreaded was those invisible slashes of Sukuna.
What he was more worried about was Sukuna's domain. If this guy opens his domain then he is screwd. He still hasn't learned any anti-domain techniques.
Thankfully, that was the exact time when he heard wolve hauling. 'Megumi's signal, he got Nobara. Good.' Yuta perked up at this.
This means that he no longer has to stay here.
'OFA 30, Soru.'
Blue aura rose and lightning crackled around Yuta before he all but vanished from his place. Trying his best to get out of this already collapsing domain as the finger bearer now was dead.
Sukuna saw this and blinked in confusion. Even when the kid used this unhuman-like speed, which was impressive even for someone like him, let alone a normal human, he didn't sense any curse energy.
'Interesting, such speed and reaction time, and I still can't feel any curse energy in him. A heavenly restriction maybe. But the brat claims to be able to use Reverse Curse Energy. This doesn't add up, something strange about this brat.' Sukuna who previously just wanted to kill Yuta just to make Yuji see in more pain and get his finger back so that he can have more control, now felt a hint of interest growing towards Yuta.
Though he was no Megumi right now Sukuna wasn't that much interested in Megumi either. Considering that he never actually fought with Gojo here. Making him not long that much for Megumi's power for that much. Though he still wanted it.
Yuta on the other hand was more like a mystery. Being called the king of curses, for thousands of years, Sukuna of course had a very in-depth knowledge of curse energy. So when he first saw Yuta, his curious side came out.
"Okay brat, you wanna play cat and mouse, I am down to it. But don't mind me killing a few of your friends along the way." Sukuna smiled and chase after Yuta.
