A group of people slowly made their way in the desert, before coming up on a weird-looking colony. "Is this the place?" A tanned, bulky, and bald man wearing a white suit asked one of his 6 bodyguards. "Yes, sir." The man confirmed.
As the group walked into town, you could see small, almost unnoticeable, turrets-shaped statues turning in their direction. As one bodyguard was about to enter the place, a civilian stopped him. "Hello there, can I ask what are your intentions for coming here are? I don't mean to pry into your business, but if you take one more step our defense system will blast you."
"Thank you, but do you normally alert potential enemies of this? Seems a bit contradictory" The man inquired. "Normally, no, but I've yet to see an enemy come here with a suit and with so few men. Well, there were a few, but not since we upgraded our defense." The citizen replied.
"You have a good eye. I only want to ask a few questions, so can you please tell me how to get past it? I can probably break through with brute force, but that won't leave a good impression, now will it?" The boss admitted. "No can do, you can sell the info or use it in case our relationship turns hostile. I'll point you to the negotiations hut, and we'll be able to talk there." The civilian spoke as he pointed at a small shack outside the village.
"I see, then we will wait there." The man said as he and his bodyguards left for the shack. As the visitors left, the man called Alex. "Alex, we have visitors!" The man exclaimed as he found Alex filtering out ideas.
"Visitors? Do they seem hostile?" Alex asked the man. "No, but they don't seem like your average guys either. I think word finally got out about our tech" The villager said in worry.
"So the time has come... I'll go talk to them. Tell the others to not say a word." Alex commanded with a somber expresion. Alex arrived at the shack and saw the guests.
"Hello, gentlemen, my name is Alex, and I'm the representative that will talk with you." Alex introduced himself with a smile. "Hello, Sir Alex. I go by Franky, I'm a representative of the Flame Prince's troops. We heard you had some interesting technology, and we wanted to inquire where can we also get that tech." The man with the white suit introduced himself, but Alex could hear some urgency in his voice.
Alex immediately started sweating. The Flame Prince was known to be one of the Second Warlord, the Warlord of heat, generals. This was outside Alex's expectations. Not only have they caught the eye of a Warlord, but troops of the Flame Prince directly came to exclude pressure.
'However, this must have a hidden meaning! There is absolutely no way troops of a Warlord Commander would have come personally if they could help it. They must know the value of David's quirk after their little test, and the other Warlords must be right on their tail.' Alex thought madly. And by the man's polite, but quick and sharp introduction, he assumed his guess was correct.
"I'm sorry to say, but our tech is simply not strong enough to satisfy your standards." Alex attempted to politely decline. "I believe it is good enough, as a matter of fact, we have done a test just moments ago using your defense system, and your turrets and traps performed excellently. You will gain a huge reward for helping the Flame Prince in such a way." Franky pushed, attempting to buy Alex with a reward.
"I'm happy to help the Prince, but our supplier is a 3rd party who I knew, but not anymore. We give him our designs and he secretly creates and brings them to us." Alex said. "That is troubling, but no matter. We will stay here and go with you as you deliver the designs to the man. And you shall do so-" Franky was in the middle of a sentence when a civilian entered the shack.
"Alex, there's another group for you. They claim to be part of the Ice blade's troops." The civilian reported with a panicked face. As the man with the white suit heard the civilian's words, his eyebrow twitched. "I-I understand, please tell them I'm currently occupied with the troops of the Flame Prince," Alex said with bearly hidden fear in his voice.
"O-Oh, I-I will." Responded the freaked-out villager as he watched the people in front of him with horror. "Mr. Franky, can you continue?" Alex urged the man as hot steam was beginning to gather around them. "Forgive me, Sir Alex, but it seems I have important business to attend to."
As Franky and his guards came out, a female voice greeted them. "Move along, steam boy, this place is under our protection now." Said a girl looking about 30, the same age as Franky, with blue eyes and long, brown, hair. She wore a blue coat, even though they were in a desert, and long jeans.
"Just great. We were here first, you damn shark, so why don't you run back to your pathetic commander." Franky said in annoyance clearly present in his voice. A vein popped on the woman's forehead as she slowly marched towards Franky. "Keep that attitude and I'll rip off your legs," she said while a couple of water sharks were summoned behind her. "Bring it on," Franky responded. As the two sides started to approach eachother, their bodyguards joined too.
"E-excuse me? If you were to fight here, our village may be damaged. I'm sure we can satisfy both of you, so please calm down." Alex tried to calm down the two parties who were about to fight.
"That's fair. I suppose this idiot made his request already, so I'll give you some good news as a prize for listening to his rambling. We can take you under our protection, seeing as our territory is the nearest one, as long as you supply us with your rumored tech in exchange. We will send you men to help move to our area, however, we want a monopoly. So you can't give it to Mr. Steam head over here." The woman offered.
"We will change our offer! Take us to the man, and we will help transport you to our territory for protection. You don't need those morons, we can protect you better!"

Hey guys, I don't know if you noticed, but I've been doing some heavy editing to the previous chapter because I'm finally comparable with the characters and I did a lot of mistakes I want to correct.
