Chapter 3: PAGE 3: FUNERAL AND FRIENDS

Immediately after Kazuya fainted, heroes and officers flooded the bridge. The heroes headed straight to Kai and Kazuya while the officer went on to apprehend Eagle dark. The heroes helped Kai up and he walked himself to Yuri's corpse, his eyes red from the tears, the heroes looked at this and one said "sorry for your lose" Kai looked at his wife who still had a smile on her face even as a corpse, and he smiled as he said "darling, our son had a quirk. I'll make sure he becomes a hero" with those words, he closed her eyes and went on to Kazuya.

With time, order came to the streets as the Mitsui family was escorted home by the police force. As Kai stepped into the house, he noticed his two children with red eyes and as they saw him with Kazuya in his arms, they rushed and hugged him as they cried their hearts out (Mitsuki; 14 years. Akashi; 9 years) Kai smiled bitterly when he saw this scene and hugged them tightly as he cried silently.

*2 WEEKS LATER*

In a cemetery, you could see a multitude of people in black. Among these people, few stood out. One was surrounded by body guards, this was the vice president of Japan; Ishida Yamamoto at his side was his wife and other Japanese delegates. Then at a corner, stood a huge man with yellow hair, this was 'all might', he was also wearing a suit. By his side was a man with red hair and fiery mustache, this was endeavor. He was followed by his son and others, there were other noteworthy people but the most important were the Mitsui family. Kai stood in front with Kazuya to his right and Mitsuki to his left, Akashi was by her side. To Kazuya's side was a man with dark red hair, a lean body and stood at 1.81m, this was Kai's brother- Kurusaki Mitsui. Behind Mitsuki wasa woman with clear dark hair, pink lips, voluptuous body and stood at 1.75m, this was Kai's sister- Rin Mitsui. Other individuals were present but none worth mention; soon the ceremony began as they began speaking about Christ before moving on to speak about Yuri. Various individuals climbed the stage as they spoke about the experiences they had with Yuri and how brave of a person she was and it came to an end as soon as it began.

As the funeral came to an end, various individuals went on to put flowers at her tomb. Kazuya came and looked at his mom's grave and said "mom, I'll become a hero and protect innocent lives. I won't let anyone end up like you" this shocked those that heard this, such a young boy making such promises but it pleased many as it showed signs of maturity.

As Kazuya prepared to leave her side, he saw his longtime friend: she had moss green hair, short for her age and she had sharp pointed teeth; this was Setsuna Tokage. She held him by the hand and said "Kazu-chan, it'll be okay" he forced a smile and said "thanks Setsu-chan" she held him as they went on to meet Kai. Kai saw Setsuna and he smiled as he said "oh hi Setsuna, how are you?" She smiled and answered "I'm fine Kazu's dad" Kai nodded and requested her "would you like to come with us home?" She happily nodded and said "I'll go tell dad" with that she rushed to inform her father. Setsuna's father was an ambassador in the Mitsui industry so he knows Kai well and with the relationship his daughter had with Kazuya, they became quite close friends, so he gladly accepted when Setsuna informed him of his request.

They soon arrived the house and each headed to his quarters to mourn, Kazuya followed by Setsuna headed to his room. He looked at Setsuna with teary eyes and said "mom said she'll never leave me, but now she left, why mom?" Setsuna smiled bitterly as she put her hand over his shoulder and said "I don't know Kazu-chan but I believe things will get better" Kazuya just said ina cold tone "it will never be the same again" and he began crying his heart and Setsuna seeing her friend, just followed suit as the child she is.

Kai had just reached his room; he moved to the closet and removed the clothes of Yuri. He then removed all her pictures and also laid it on the bed with a bitter smile he said "I'll improve, I won't let this happen again" and the lights went off.

On this day, the Mitsui mansion was filled with mourning.
