Chapter 442: Taking over the military

*Boom!* 

A general got to his feet and pressed two fingers together before shooting an energy blast that had a bluish glow toward Derek. 

However, he was shocked when Derek suspended the blast mid-air. The blast came back toward the general, slamming him to the wall.

A chain made from pure soul energy was wrapped around the second general, who was a woman with attractive facial features. 

"Wait, I didn't -..." She couldn't finish her words as the chains coiled around her neck and the sound of bones breaking quaked the ears of other elders.

In a matter of three minutes, Derek slayed six Rank 8 elders at the behest of his wife. Turning his head back, the woman holding Angel froze when she saw those cold eyes.

Waving his hands, the woman floated into the air, her bones shattering as did the rest of her body.
