"What did you say?" Derek yelled, moving at such an insane speed that he vanished from Angel's eyes in a blink of an eye.

Jake, who knelt on the ground, felt the air pick up and he knew Derek was behind him. Still staring at his hands coated with blood, Jake's shoulders trembled.

"I'm sorry, Derek."

Derek stared at the scene without an expression. He pressed his comm and turned to the dark corridor with flickering eyes. "Find Li Mei."

His eyes flickered as he stared at the bloodstains where Li Mei was supposed to be. He left Jake and walked down the corridor. Although it was dark, his silver eyes could see hair and blood on the floor. He already knew it belonged to Li Mei.

"We have more than those invisible creatures inside... There's a mad vampire but do not shoot at her. I repeat, do not shoot."
