Gao Guang looked forward to the surprise Zoge might have in store, but since anticipation was involved, there would be no surprise, only whether what Zoge offered would satisfy Gao Guang.
By noon, Zoge finally made the call.
Zoge's approach was now straightforward and to the point, not due to his personality, but because his situation forced him to act this way.
"Lord Dog, good afternoon. Is it convenient for us to talk now?"
Gao Guang laughed, "No, I've been waiting for your call."
Zoge fell silent for a moment before finally speaking, "Then, is it possible our conversation could be overheard by someone else?"
"No, this is a very secure line, essentially prepared just for you."
Having said this so explicitly, Zoge should understand what he meant.
But Gao Guang still couldn't be blunt, because while he'd be alright, Zoge might not dare to bet on him if he spoke too directly, and that would mean losing out on many benefits.
