“I think there comes a time, you start to make decisions that will affect your life for a good time to come. Hopefully a happier you” She put down her pen, by the journal, and stroked a hand down kenell’s head. He’d fallen asleep, head in her lap and she had welcomed him, welcomed the beauty of his rain-soaked head. He had no qualms like that, placing his wet body against her as he owned her. And maybe he did, maybe he owned her more than she owned him. She wondered at him, kenell knew his place beside her, was so sure of it, and never had to doubt it.
