Chapter 1: 0: prologue
"FUCK!" Gasping for breath, a woman looked around twenty narrowed her eyes dangerously at the ominous mass of people, no, beasts, infront of her.
As if parting fir their king, the crowd suddenly aplit to allow a sage looking man to stand out from the hundreds of other sages mixed in with the crowd. "Yinyue." He spoke, tone laced with deadly toxins. "We raise a filthy thing like you and bring you under our guidance only for you to go and study such foul arts behind our backs? You didn't deserve our benevol-"
"Shut up." Not a demand, just a calm statement. A too cqlm statement. "You're scared I'll get revenge because of how badly you rotting dust treated me before, just get to the point. You're cutting the flower before it blossoms, it's happened plenty of times in history before just end the insesive chatter and get to the point..."
Completely angered, the sage shakily raised a finger to point at the disheveled woman. "Y-YOU!!"
"Yes, I'm me." An eye roll. "Even if you plan to brutally mutate me, I won't let you guys off easily either. We're at the same rank in terms of magic old man, add the fact that I'm also both a warrior and healer, I can easily cause your academies some heavy losses..." As if thinking, the woman paused mud speech and lightly tapped on her chin. Then a devilish smirk graced her disheveled face. "Oh wait..I already have."
The sage was completely red from anger now. "KILL HER!"
Many of the people beside him shot the man hesitant looks, "B-But President, the knowledge she holds could bring our-"
"SHUT UP! I DON'T CARE WHAT METHODS YOU FOOLS USE, JUST BRING ME HER HEAD!"
The woman was completely surrounded in a hopeless situation yet she still chuckled. She had always been like this, abnormally calm as if she had lived through countless lifetimes...Then for the first time in years, her eyes lost their usual lazy indifference. She laughed once again in mockery. "I WANT ALL OF THE RESIDENCE IN THE WESTERN REALM TO REMEMBER THAT MY NAME IS YINYUE, AND I'M THE ONE WHO BROUGHT RUIN TO COUNTLESS ACIENT ACADEMIES."
Waving her sleeves, powder of all different colors were carried by the wind across to the people surrounding Yinyue who backed away in fear. Seeing this, Yinyue sneered. "Do you think that my poisons are really that easily avoided?"
The sky was suddenly illuminated by dozens of colors at the woman's cue. Many people screamed in fear. "DEMON!! SHE ACTUALLY SET UP THIS MANY FORMATIONS FOR US, THIS ENTIRE THING WAS A TRAP! SHE PLANNED TO DIE AND TO TAKE US WITH HER!"
Yinyue...a woman who single handedly ended the most prosperous era the western relam had ever had. Yinyue, a name that has been imprinted in the history of the western realm.
