Mech battles are the lifeblood of Megacity 14. Overseen by the city-nation’s government, hundreds of gangs, corporations, and independent teams compete to be the best in the annual battle royale.

Eighteen-year-old Marvin Yao is a prodigy, a mech pilot who is quickly rising in the ranks. But right when he has the championship in his sights, he is murdered. Now, with his consciousness inhabiting the very mech he used to pilot, Marvin must work alongside a ragtag team to uncover the truth about his death and prepare for the impending tournament, where much more than a few million dollars are at stake.
