It's been an hour into the journey to the blue lake and Nori had not spoken a word. Her mind was occupied with the thoughts of Victor suddenly breaking up with her. 

She kept her eyes straight, looking into the distance and not paying attention to her surrounding. Her eyes blinked constantly, faster than usual to ensure the tears pooling in her eyes don't drop.

It was still confusing to her how the whole thing happened. Could there be something more that he wasn't telling her? Because his reason made absolutely no sense. Couldn't she be friends with someone without dating the person?

"You know you need to be in your best mood for what you are going for, right?" Gideon's voice pulled her out of her thoughts, and she turned to give him the evil eye. 

"Don't look at me like that. I'm not the one who broke up with you." Gideon added, seeing the way she was looking at him. 

"He broke up with me because of you."
