Chapter 177: Bribe me first

The next morning, Salma opened the door and stepped out of the room, already prepared for the day. She had on a pair of royal blue shorts, and a pink shirt, and her hands were still in her hair as she rolled it into a messy bun.

Just as she stepped out of her room, her eyes fell on Cozan. He stood in the corridor, beside her door, supposedly waiting for her to come out.

"Good morning, Cozan." She greeted him and proceeded to walk away from there.

What he did last night came back afresh in her mind, igniting her annoyance toward him again. 

"Salma, can we talk?" Cozan pushed himself away from the wall.

"No." She continued walking, not even sparing him another glance.

"Salma, please..." Cozan's voice reached her ears and she halted. 

"What is it, Cozan? Is it time for round two scoldings? I'm not ready for that." 

"I'm not here to scold you. I want to apologize for yesterday. I got carried away by my emotions. I'm sorry."
