Chapter 75: I have Plans For You

"Help me…." 

All Islinda had to say was those two words and the relief was instantaneous and she caught her breath in a gasp of pain. She curled in on herself, still trembling from the beating, and was detached from the world for a while until she realized that it was deadly silent. 

There was no sound of Lillian and Madam Alice anymore and Islinda would have thought all of what happened was a dream or product of his magic except there was still blood on her hands - both hers and Remy's - and the smell of death. And it unsettled her for strange reasons. What has Eli done this time? 

The terror began in the pit of her stomach but continuously wind upwards till it reached her chest and strangled her heart. Amid the excruciating pain, Islinda had to snap out of it and had barely sat up, looking around when she saw the bodies on the floor and her stomach churned at once.
