Chapter 40: Chapter 40

　　I got out of the bathroom, wore the simple cloth Rose pick out for me, she was done packing few clothes for me so I just packed my hair in a messy bun and awaited Jayden's arrival.

　　I decided to call Luca to know how he's fairing, we were still speaking when Rose alerted me on Jayden's arrival.

　　I said my goodbye to Luca and ended the call. He's all healed now but still needs to rest for few more days before he gets back on his feet.

　　Rose and I got downstairs, waved at my mother who didn't even glance at us as she was busy laughing her ass off on whatever that was funny enough to make her ignore her child.

　　I stepped into Jayden's black Maybach, who knows how many cars he has, I haven't seen him with this particular type before.

　　Rose refused to let Jayden drop her, saying she still has an errand to run around my neighbourhood but I know that was an excuse.

　　She was probably running away from Jayden and his troubles even though I seem to be the only one he troubles.
