Chapter 10: Comrades!
"Hah!" Eizen slashed his sword towards the enemy soldiers and once again managed to overpower them and slashed them right at their chest.
"We're almost their guys!" Said Eizen while moving forward.
Right now there are only about 30 soldiers of the original 50 who followed Eizen towards the enemy HQ while the other half where lead by Angel to give them time.
"Shit! At this pace We'll tire out before even breaking through these soldiers!" Eizen said while clicking his tongue and looking at the soldiers who are still behind him.
When the Hitmonlee leader saw Eizen looking back ar them, he felt like he knew what Eizen was thinking and then called upon the other Hitmonlees and overtake Eizen and then formed a reverse "V" shape formation around the team.
"Wait you guys... what are you trying to do!?" Said Eizen trying to stop what they were about to do but it was too late.
The leader of the Hitmonlee then shouted like he was signaling the others to do something but after a few seconds Eizen finally saw what they planned to do.
[Bulk up- the user tenses it's muscles to bulk up its body, raising both its attack and defense.]
When Eizen saw them use this skill he then knew that they've going to use everything that they have to make sure that they manage to finish the mission and get the head of the enemy commander.
"Eizen this..."said James while looking at the Hitmonlee protecting them as much as they can to help them get through faster and to lessen their injuries.
"They're ready to risk everything." Eizen just said while also running towards the Hitmonlees to help them.
The enemies surrounding them right now must number in the hundreds but there are only about 30 of them right now!
The Hitmonlees kept on fighting with everything that they've got! Although they have already suffered various injuries and are most likely exhausted by now they still kept going!
When Eizen and the others saw this they just clenched their fist.
"Shit! Come on guys! What are we doing just watching our comrades suffer like this!?" Said daryl while clenching his sword tightly and then went out to help Eizen and the Hitmonlees with the enemy soldiers.
"Heh, don't act tough like that daryl! You don't have to order me!" Said James while thrusting his spear forward to kill an enemy trying to attack one of the Hitmonlees at the rear.
When the Hitmonlee saw that James protected him he nodded and then continued to go forward and kill the enemy soldiers.
"Heh." When James saw this he just smiled and then continued to support from the sidelines.
When the Hitmonlee leader saw this he was quite surprised and was lost in thought for a second.
When the enemies saw this they didn't let go of the opportunity and attacked him with their spears and swords ready to take his life!
When the Hitmonlee leader went back to his senses he didn't now that he spaced out their for a moment and regretted it.
Just as the enemy weapons were about to reach the hitmonlee leaders body, he saw a figure immediately appeared infront of him and managed to block these soldiers and then counter attack in the blink of an eye and managed to kill a few soldiers.
When the Hitmonlee leader once again looked at the figure that saved him, he saw that the one who saved him was their leader for this mission! And that is none other than Eizen!
When Eizen saw that the Hitmonlee leader soaced out for a second he immediately ran as fast as he could to rescue him because in a war you can't lose focus even if it is only a quarter of a secone for you might lose your life!
"Heh you okay? Spaced out there for a second." Said Eizen jokingly while looking at the Hitmonlee leader.
But when Eizen looked at the Hitmonlee leader he just saw him dashed towards him for a second and then immediately appeared at his back blocking an enemy soldier who was about to attack him.
When Eizen saw that after the Hitmonlee leader killed the enemy soldier he looked at him immediately, Eizen couldn't help but laugh when he saw this.
Although the Hitmonlee leader didn't say anything and just looked at Him, Eizen already knew that the Hitmonlee leader also said " Heh you okay? Spaced out there for a second." Even though the Hitmonlee leader didn't say anything, Eizen already knew what he was thinking and just responded by once again dashing towards the enemy soldiers killing a few of them in mere seconds.
Right now although the Hitmonlees and their leader are still fighting there is one thing that they thought on their mind and that this was the first time that they saw humans also risking their lives to save theirs.
before these Hitmonlees evolve they were just tyrogues, and were mere slaves to humans at their village and because of that they were treated like they were the lowest forms of life on this planet. Therefore after they evolved and were tasked to be soldiers for the war, they just finished the tasked that were given to them and didn't mingle with humans if not necessary.
But... when the Hitmonlees saw that these humans around them were treating them as equals and are even risking their lives to just to help them, for them it finally felt like they managed to find some kindness to humans.
"Alright guys were almost... there!!" Said Eizen while killing the last soldier standing on their way from the enemy headquarters and them.
