Chapter 270: Reuniting With Family
Following the accident on the wall, the young master of Mortola Family was sent somewhere else to be dealt with later by the Duke on account of leaving his post without informing his superior, along with assaulting a servant of the Duke.
After the pest was dealt with, the Duke told Ryker to meet him tomorrow in the afternoon, to discuss more about his post and as such. While Ryker at first wished to deny the job, the Duke insisted, saying there would be some more rewards on the line if he accepted.
In the end, he accepted, not just for the rewards, but also to ensure his family wouldn't be troubled by anyone anymore. The Duke also told him of his family's change in residence, all done to protect his family, except that the members of the great families could enter the Duke's Mansion at will in the trying times.
Following this, Ryker went to the room, preparing for the awaited reunion.

"Big Brother!!" as soon as the little ones see him, the first thing they do is become projectiles and hit him in the guts. If not for his strength, he would have fallen to the ground.
He was able to stand his ground before hugging the little types, all of them giggling as they received the attention of their oldest brother.
As he hugged them, he spotted at the corner of his eyes the eldest four, who seemed pensive about joining the hug pile. He decided to not give them any option, using his qi to pull them closer before enveloping them with his arms, prompting them to squeal.
As he showered his little siblings with attention, he could see his lovers, along with the youngest person in the entire room looking at him with longing for the former while the latter squirmed as she tried to join the pile.
Moving his hand, he makes a motion to make them come closer, prompting them to walk towards him before he also gives them a hug and a kiss for each of them.
The show of affection caused his siblings with the exception of Ariana to look away, make a gagging motion, or both at once.
He let out a laugh before taking the baby of the family into his arms, making her giggle as her older brother showered her with care.
Ryker let out a smile, it was good to be back.

While it was true that they live inside the Duke's Mansion, their actual home for the time being is a small mansion, at least compared to the Duke's, in the Duke's estate.
The reason for them living inside the mansion for the time being is for their protection, at least until Ryker returns.
With his coming back, they all moved out of the Duke's Mansion and lived in their mansion, which is a good thing as they will feel restricted in their ability to show their 'love' to one another as doing it inside someone else home is too much for them.
With that said, they still need to go to the Duke's Mansion to do their job, at least the women. While he wished for them to not go there considering what happened, they insisted, not to mention the Duke paid them handsomely for their service.
In the end, he agrees to their wishes, though he does tell them to ask the Duke or any guards for help if there is anyone else to come and harass them.
After the move, they decided to buy some food before they could talk with their lover.

"Woah! You did all that," Darius asked, his eyes seemed to be gleaming as he heard of his brother's tale.
The others were no better, looking at their oldest brothers with a sense of awe, except for Ariana who seemed to be enjoying her food more than listening to her oldest brother's story.
"I want to go on an adventure like you too!" Fenrir exclaimed, excitement shown on his face.
Ryker let out a chuckle as he pet the boy's head, ignoring the "hey," and his younger brother's attempt to remove his hand.
"Maybe in the future and when you become a cultivator," he told him, making the pouting boy turn into a smiling boy, who seemed to be looking forward to the future.
The others also chimed in, eager to join him in the future as well, he let out a laugh before he thought of something. His eyes fell on Ilina, who froze a bit at her older brother's sudden look.
"Ilina could start cultivating soon," Ryker said, making the younger girl's eyes widen at the sudden reveal.
"In fact, it is possible to begin cultivating at the age of 12 but you need to start slow and it could damage your cultivation if you start too early, though if it is exposed to some weak energy then it would not cause as much harm.
The best time is when you are 16 years old so that your meridian and body can handle cultivating," he explained some of the stuff he learned from his parents, along with some that he learned from books.
The only reason why he started so early is to get as much time as possible for him to reach the World Source realm, and to make his foundation more fragile so it will be easier to break.
He then did some calculating, before he came to a conclusion, "Ilina, you can begin cultivating in 2 more weeks, Ezekiel in 40 weeks, followed by Esran and Sheena," he told them, making his little sister give her brother a taunting smile, one that was replied with him sticking his tongue out.
He shook his head, the fighting between the two of them was something that happened every so often. Thankfully, it never leads to any serious damage, whether physically, or mentally.
He does have to separate the two every so often so they won't try to kill each other when he is not looking.
As he looked at them with a fond look, a tap on his shoulder made him turn around before his smile turned wry. After all, all of his lovers and servant have the exact same look on their faces, one telling him that he won't be getting much sleep for the night.
He told them using his Soul Sense he would make sure they would receive his intimate loving tonight, warning them, especially Lisha and Rina to not go overboard with anything.
Thankfully, they agree, giving Ryker the chance to prepare for a night full of loving. Well, he also misses them so it would not be too much of a problem for him.
