Thankfully, the alchemist had left him the instructions on how to make the simple healing potion. Consequently, he possessed great memory, which was only improved by the Profound Scholar Scripture, a Cultivation Art true to its name.
With that said, he still needs to make the potion. While he remembered what to do and the instruction was just next to him, he needed to be able to perform alchemy in the first place.
He began to follow the instructions to the tee. It didn't take long before all the ingredients had been prepared. The question is if he were able to control the flame. He began to experiment with the formation.
After several minutes of playing around and wasting tens if not hundreds of Genesis Stones, he concluded he found the flame from the to be... unsatisfactory. He wondered if he could use his own flame for the process. Well, only one way to find out.
He used his qi and create a flame before using it to heat up the cauldron, before putting in the first ingredients. As he watched the ingredients slowly turn into liquid, he added the next ingredients.
Before long, he had reached the last part of the entire process, putting the last ingredients and making sure the entire thing was combined properly. He watched carefully, using both his eyes and divine senses to make sure the entire process happened without any trouble.
It didn't take long before the potion was completed. He quickly stopped his flame and waited for the cauldron to cool down. When it was cool enough, he poured the content of the cauldron into the arranged vials.
After finishing storing it, he looked at the vials with a smile. His first attempt in alchemy and it was a resounding success. He then looked at the remaining ingredients, wondering if he was able to emulate his success.

"So, how are things going?" the alchemist returned, though from how his already unkempt look somehow got even more unkempt, he had been busy the entire time.
Ryker didn't bother speaking, just pointing at the arranged vials. The alchemist looked at the vials that were neatly arranged before his eyes bulged. Shakily, he asked, "You make this all yourself, without any help?"
"Yes, after all, I want to learn how to perform alchemy. If not, I would have a commission for some potions or pills or just bought them at the alchemy shop," he replied. His answer seemed to break the alchemist as he laughed like crazy.
When he finished laughing, he looked at Ryker before asking another question, "Is this your first time doing alchemy?" Ryker nodded, not knowing what that had to do with anything.
"Kid," the alchemist began, "Most alchemist would fail their first alchemy attempt, with some rare geniuses or very lucky one that was able to make their potions or pills in the end. Even then, they will only make one pill or one vial of potions.
As for those who were born in an alchemy clan or family, that person would only be able to make 3 pills or vials worth of potions, and that is if they were prodigies and particularly talented alchemists. Somehow, you are able to make 8 vials of potions, for every set of ingredients, which is an almost impossible feat for a beginner.
Now you see how amazing you are?" hearing what the alchemist thought, Ryker could only think that the Profound Scholar Scripture was amazing. However, he couldn't tell the alchemist of the art less he gets hunted for it. Instead, he decided to point the alchemist to another point he likely didn't notice.
"Maybe it's because I'm a Genesis Core expert, plus my mastery of Law of Fire had reached the Elementary Understanding," he pointed out, making the alchemist be in deep thought before his eyes bulged once more at the information.
"You a Genesis Core expert! And your mastery of Law of Fire reached the Elementary Understanding!" he parroted, Ryker, nodding at the man's correct statement. After all, he didn't lie about it, just he hid something else.
"Well, that will certainly make things easier for you. So you don't use the formation then," the man asked, his thought confirmed when Ryker nodded.
"Well, you should be able to control flame to the point you can determine the perfect heat and temperature. Looks like I could move to the more advanced stuff," Ryker's brows lightly rise at the 'more advanced stuff'.
"The thing I show you, that supposed to be for beginner alchemists who were only at the Genesis Gathering, not at the Genesis Core. So, with your cultivation, I could show you the harder stuff. Then we can see it's because you are a prodigy or because of your cultivation and mastery of Law of Fire,"
The man then grabbed the ingredients before tossing it into the cauldron. Before he could voice out his concern, he watched as the ingredients that needed to be prepared were prepared, the alchemist using his qi to both chop the Light Grass and extract the essence from the Blood Orchid.
He then watched as how controlled the ingredients, moving them only when they turned to liquid and mixing them using his qi and the flame from the formation. The entire process went smoothly yet Ryker could see the amount of concentration needed is astounding.
When he finished, the potions seemed to glow brighter than the previous. Realizing Ryker's attention on the potions, the alchemist laughed at his expression. "If you used your qi and flame simultaneously, you will be able to make the conjunction even purer. This will result in the potion efficiency and effect to be much better,"
Hearing him, Ryker nodded, though he had no delusion he would be able to achieve the same result as the alchemist. After all, the alchemist had experiences and skills accumulated from how long he had been practicing alchemy.
However that doesn't mean he couldn't try it, just he needs to get another set to practice with. Before he could ask for another set of ingredients, a servant brought the ingredients needed for the recipe.
Seeing his surprised look, the alchemist calmly said, "This is just a small investment. If you can even create half of what I did, then it shows how talented you are in alchemy,"
Hearing this, Ryker decided to do his best. With the Profound Scholar Scripture, he likely will achieve the best result he could achieve while not having any experience or skills.
He then readied himself, mentally preparing himself for his attempt to repeat what the alchemist did.

"Looks like I am right. You are a prodigy after all," the alchemist said. How he could not say that, after seeing how Ryker copied all the actions he did almost perfectly, only failing at some point due to his inexperience.
