There was an awkward silence in the room, and Camelia touched her forehead to relieve the incoming headache.

'I did think that this Zayne and the Zayne I knew were the same people, but somehow that did not feel like it. This is so awkward now. Should I speak up?'

Eris was finally gone for the day, and Megan had also taken Claris back to get checked by the doctor.

That only left Camelia and Zayne alone; she felt she had to speak to him.

But as soon as Camelia opened her mouth, Zayne turned to look at her with a very familiar look.

"Don't give me that look! I am not the person you know. Besides, even if I were the person you know, our relationship has changed significantly. Can you just see me as the person I am now?"

Zayne asked with an almost pained voice. He must be having a hard time keeping up with all this.
