She, took a sharp turn to enter the house, then she saw a tall man, about six feet tall and wearing a suit. She thought it was one of those contractors, who wanted to demolish their house and build a bank, her parents always refused everytime, The house was passed down by her grandfather, to her father, So he treasured it more than his life.
She was about to confront the man, when her parents called her, They told her the man, Mr Jacobs was a representative of Oak valley Medical College.
She was out of words, because she didn't know if it was good or bad news, but she thought, why would they Come to a town like hers if not for good news.
Mr. Jacobs, a soft-spoken man with blue eyes, and a beards turning grey, he seemed to be in his forties or fifties, He came to her and shook her hand, congratulating her on getting admitted to Oak Valley Medical school.
She was so overjoyed and happy, because her dreams were about to come to pass.
Mr. Jacobs explained, on why they delayed in contacting her, he explained that she scored a mark lower than standard, but a woman in the administration of the school, kept Recommending her for the scholarship, They finally agreed to give her the scholarship due to the fact that she was from a local town, she almost made the cut and she was greatly recommended.
The Representative left after having her parents sign some documents, and reading some policies, She was to resume school the next month, her accommodation, feeding and other things would be taken care off by the School.
She was So happy and her parents were proud of her, they didn't expect it but they thanked God.
She then started preparing for the Journey ahead
