Daredevil arrived as expected.

But Cohen turned a deaf ear.

Daredevil angrily rebuked, "He has already lost the ability to resist, why did you still kill him!"

"I killed him to save you, Daredevil, how can you blame me?"

Daredevil gritted his teeth in fury, but the demon-faced man in front of him had indeed saved his life. He suppressed his anger and coldly asked, "Fine, but why did you cause a massacre in Hell's Kitchen? Do you even know how many people you've killed?"

"Of course I know!"

Cohen shrugged. "In fact, I remember it more clearly than anyone."

"You're a devil!"

"They all deserved to die."

"Even so, you should have let the law judge them."

"You, a violent criminal, dare to speak of law? Haven't you broken the law?"

"I haven't killed anyone!"

The sound of police sirens could be heard in the distance. Daredevil glared at him with hatred. "I will stop you from killing again!"

The next day, the church opened as usual.

David continued monitoring his target, Wolf, from the second floor. Even though the first Bronze kill was completed, careful planning was still needed for the second and third five-star Bronze gift packs.

Cohen, as always, listened to the confessions of the faithful.

Thanks to the recent church activities he had organized, Emma Church had gained some considerable reputation in the neighborhood.

After a few minutes, he smiled and sent the confessor on their way.

As he turned around, he called David upstairs: "David, add this guy named Jack to the target list; his sins urgently need God's forgiveness!"

At that moment, a man in a suit suddenly entered the church.

Cohen recognized him immediately— the man who always appears in the beginner village.

Phil Coulson approached with a smile. "Hello, Father. I'm Phil Coulson, from the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. Can we talk?"

"Agent Coulson, hello. Uh… I didn't quite catch which department you're from. Was it the Homeland…"

"Homeland Defense… Homeland Strategic Defense and Logistics… Uh… Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division!"

Coulson looked slightly awkward and quickly changed the subject. "Can we talk?"

Cohen glanced around, seeing a few believers praying quietly in the small hall. "Let's go to the garden."

In the garden, the fragrance of flowers filled the air, and the sparse flowers had blossomed fully.

Cohen glanced back at the balding Agent Coulson. The system had not identified him as a target.

He was curious— would the system mark Nick Fury as a target?

"What brings you here, Agent Coulson?"

"There's been a serial killer on the loose in Hell's Kitchen recently. Father Cohen, have you heard of him?"

"Of course! You mean the guy in the red leather suit, with horns— Daredevil?"

Cohen pretended to suddenly understand. "I thought there was no difference between the two."

Coulson was confused and began to feel a bit suspicious.

Cohen pointed to the confession room outside. "I've heard too many confessions, and a portion of them have tearfully accused Daredevil of brutal actions. But as for the guy you mentioned, Demon Face, strangely, no one has said anything bad about him."

Coulson stared at him speechlessly. Do you really not know why?

Shaking his head, Coulson said, "Actually, the reason I came here was to see if you had any clues about Demon Face."

Cohen's heart skipped a beat, and his brow furrowed slightly. "Why ask me?"

Coulson shrugged. "As you just said, many people come to you to confess. There must be some clues, right?"

"Well…"

Cohen shook his head. "Agent Coulson, I'm afraid I can't help you. Everything that happens in the confession room is secret, and I have a duty to keep it that way."

"No, no, Father. You don't have to reveal any specifics— no names, places, or what happened. Just give us a clue or a hint. I don't think God would blame you because your actions might save hundreds of lives!"

"Sigh, but I would blame myself!"

Cohen sighed deeply, looking distressed.

Just as Coulson thought he wasn't going to say anything, Cohen quietly spoke: "I heard that Demon Face's origin might have some connection to Daredevil. But I don't know the details; you'll have to investigate that on your own."

Coulson, frowning, left Emma Church with this unexpected bit of information.

His visit to the church had been more of a shot in the dark, but to his surprise, he had uncovered something unexpected.

Originally, Demon Face's rise in Hell's Kitchen hadn't drawn much attention.

It wasn't until Bullseye's death that they realized this "Demon Face" was much stronger than they had anticipated.

But now, how was Daredevil tied up in all of this?

After pondering for a while, he decided to investigate both at once.

He made a phone call: "Director, I'm requesting to add Daredevil to the priority target list for this investigation. He was already on our watchlist before, so we might as well look into him as well."

There was silence on the other end of the line before a deep, commanding voice responded, "Understood!"
