In the midst of the chaotic showdown, Storm soared through the air, manipulating thunder and storms, while Summers, equipped with a laser cannon on his palm, relentlessly bombarded her.
Amidst the chaos, only Jean and Alex remained.
"Jean, don't be afraid. This is your first fight. Believe in your own strength; I am right behind you," Alex reassured, encouraging Jean.
"I will, teacher," Jean affirmed, taking a deep breath and locking her gaze onto Apocalypse.
Alex, understanding the potential within Jean, didn't constrain her abilities but instead guided her to master and control the Phoenix Force. Though ten years had passed, she had yet to fully master her powers, but her command was formidable.
Ascending slowly, Jean gestured, unleashing a phoenix-like shockwave directly toward Apocalypse.
Apocalypse, astonished by Jean's capabilities, addressed her with fiery eyes, "Very impressive Ability. It can disintegrate substances. Child, your ability is powerful. How about letting me unleash it completely? You could become The Queen reigning over life and death."
Alex, annoyed by Apocalypse's audacious proposition, clenched his fists, prepared to intervene. Apocalypse's ideals might be commendable, but that didn't grant him the right to encroach upon Alex's students.
Appreciating Apocalypse's vision for a better world didn't mean allowing him to snatch away the apprentice Alex had nurtured for a decade.
"No need!" Jean's firmly rejected Apocalypse's offer.
Jean's closed her eyes, and a formidable mental force surged into Apocalypse's mind.
Spiritual power and telepathy were distinct abilities; telepathy struck directly at the soul.
Apocalypse's demeanor shifted as he sensed Jean's mental power.
"How dare you challenge me?"
With a thunderous roar, Apocalypse unleashed his mighty power, violently exploding into a deafening uproar.
It was a mere shockwave, yet a group of mutants, including Eric, Hank, Summers, and Jean, were all battered by Apocalypse's overwhelming force.
In that moment, Apocalypse seemed invincible!
"I am God! I am the master! My power is invincible!" Apocalypse laughed maniacally.
"See that? Only I can control everything."
"Teacher, I'm sorry. I failed your expectations." Held in Alex's arms after the onslaught of Apocalypse's power, Jean was saved only by the use of Psychokinesis. The gap in power was immense.
"Haha, not true. After all, Apocalypse is the first Mutant. His control over abilities far surpasses yours. You've done well enough; now, watch me," Alex chuckled lightly.
Staring at Apocalypse, Alex scoffed, "It's time to see whether you are the real deal"
"Oh you dare to oppose me? Dare to defy my majesty? I'll show you how powerful I am!" Apocalypse fixed his gaze on Alex, his voice cold.
A disobedient child should be punished; after all, he's just a kid.
"How amusing!" Alex shook his head. Truth be told, with control over Jean's abilities and strength, combined with all the absorbed powers, he could confidently declare his invincibility on Earth at this moment!
Even though Apocalypse boasted being the first Mutant with a multitude of abilities proved futile against him.
Any energy-based attack can be absorbed effortlessly by Alex. He can commanding atoms to decompose, altering atomic sequences, and conjur creations seemingly out of thin air—a true master of creation.
Alex cast a disdainful glance at Apocalypse, shaking his head in mild disappointment. "I was too lazy to deal with you, but crossing the line by harming Charles and my students, and even trying to usurp my position? Now, release Charles, and I'll grant you a dignified end!"
"Do you wish for your demise?" Apocalypse, who considered himself a god, had never encountered such mockery. Alex's words triggered an instant and furious rage within Apocalypse.
Apocalypse, accustomed to beinglooked upto and rarely facing ridicule, seethed with rage at Alex's audacious words. The air crackled with tension as Apocalypse declared, "I will crush you to ashes!"
The force of Apocalypse's power surged like a raging tide, capable of altering the molecular structure, changing density, and directly obliterating substances at a molecular level. It was a power that could annihilate everything, the epitome of his claim to godhood.
"Foolish child behold the divine punishment of God," Apocalypse sneered as the destructive force bore down on Alex.
In the face of this power, Alex remained composed, casually patting the dust from his body.
"Just a force at the molecular level?" Alex shook his head dismissively, gazing at Apocalypse with indifference. "My control of matter has reached the atomic level. Your Ability is insufficient."
"If you're truly capable, surrender now, and I might spare you," Alex declared, advancing towards Apocalypse without a hint of fear.
Apocalypse stretched out his hand, summoning a burst of golden-red light from the scorching sun above. The radiant brilliance coalesced in Apocalypse's hands, and with a sweeping motion, he unleashed a scorching beam of fiery light—like a laser cannon—directed at Alex.
"The power's impressive, but it's no use. Keep going!"
The fiery flames struck Alex's chest, yet his "Energy Absorption Ability" instantly absorbed all the energy contained in the flames.
Apocalypse's "Sun Divine Flame" vanished in an instant.
Alex patted his wrinkled shirt and continued advancing toward Apocalypse.
Apocalypse was a tad panicked. This was the first time he'd encountered such a terrifying opponent. Whether it was energy, physics, or his most potent weapon, molecular transformation, nothing seemed to affect Alex.
However, he still possessed psychic power—an invisible wave spread out.
Covering Alex, Apocalypse prepared to manipulate Alex's memory.
He needed Charles' psychic power to enslave everyone since his powers couldn't achieve that effect. Yet, this didn't mean his psychic abilities couldn't alter others' memories.
Alex snorted coldly, and his psychic power also spread out, shattering Apocalypse's attempts at memory manipulation.
"Um…" Apocalypse covered his nose and mouth, silver blood flowing between his fingers.
Alex reached out, collecting a drop of blood.
Within it lay numerous abilities, and Alex was particularly intrigued by Apocalypse's ability to enhance the Mutant gene.
"Stop him!"
Panic flashed in Apocalypse's eyes as he shouted at his "Knights."
"Thunder!"
A gust of wind swept through, electric lights roaring endlessly. Storm floated in the air, thunder condensed in her hand, and she fiercely slammed it down at Alex.
Angel's sword wings spread out, and he rose into the sky. The entire person turned into a rapidly spinning top, sharp metal feathers whistling through the air like blades.
Angel unleashed the formidable "Blade Storm" with his metallic wings, a cyclone of lethal metal cutting through the air.
Psylocke underwent a rapid transformation, her Psychokinesis weapon gleaming sharply as it aimed to pierce through Alex's flesh.
"What are my teammates doing, weren't they supposed to take care of these guys. Well, anyways it's been a while since I have stretched my muscles," Alex thought.
Unfazed by the flashing lightning, he continued striding towards Apocalypse.
As metal feathers flew in his direction, Alex casually extended his hand, sweeping them aside effortlessly. The metallic feathers obeyed his command, veering away in response.
Even Psylocke's attack proved futile, unable to pierce Alex's clothes, let alone harm him.
"Your assaults have no effect on me. Now fuck off," Alex's hand sliced through the air with a swift motion, invoking the power of atomic manipulation.
With a focused intensity, he shattered the very fabric of incoming attacks, reducing them to mere atoms dissolving into the ether.
A palpable shockwave rippled outward from Alex manifestation of his unleashed power. Its force was visible to the naked eye, a cascade of energy surging forth with unyielding might.
Caught in its embrace, the three Mutants found themselves powerless against the sheer force radiating from Alex's being. They were swept away.

"Why is he strong?"
Apocalypse, faced with Alex's overwhelming power, felt an unprecedented sense of powerlessness. The towering deity, in front of Alex's invincibility, found himself grounded.
"Let's leave here first. After I integrate Charles's power, I will come back to settle the score!" Panicking, Apocalypse decided on a "strategic retreat." He waved his hand, initiating "Space Teleportation" with a blue light.
"Want to run? Not so easy," Alex sneered coldly, instantly teleporting to Apocalypse and delivering a direct punch to his face, sending Apocalypse sprawling.
Meanwhile, Charles who was released landed on the ground with a grin.
Storm continued casting lightning bolts at Alex.
"Hey, you're relentless! Your attacks are useless against me. He was planning to abandon you and escape. Are you still attacking me?" Alex shouted at Storm, who floated in the air.
"..."
Storm felt helpless, having unwittingly joined the thief's enterprise, and it wasn't that easy to disengage.
"Don't be foolish. Come down!" Alex beckoned to Storm. "Come down and stop fooling around. You haven't made any serious mistakes. Cease it as soon as possible or else."
"It seems I have no choice but to surrender," Storm sighed, shaking her head. She deactivated her powers and descended to the ground.
Storm had been against Apocalypse's plan and had wanted to abandon ship long ago. Now, hearing Alex's words, it seemed there wouldn't be a "reckoning in the fall," so she surrendered smoothly.
On the other side, Apocalypse's other two knights were also subdued, leaving Apocalypse as a disarmed commander.
"Damn! I am a god, the sole master of this world!" Apocalypse stood up, shouting at Alex.
"Yeah Yeah Yeah, don't you have anything else to say," Alex sneered.
Shaking his head, Alex remarked, "Didn't you say you wanted to turn me into sand? Well, then, I'll show you who turns into sand."
Alex stared at Apocalypse, extending his hand into a fist and then slowly opening it.
Apocalypse stared, and in the next moment, his figure transformed into a puff of yellow sand, dissipating into the air.
Apocalypse, the world's first Mutant, completely vanished from this world.
"Alex, is this your true power?"
An unbeatable foe, Alex had not only defeated but obliterated him. This left Eric and the others horrified.
They had speculated about Alex's strength, but there was no frame of reference. Today's battle laid bare the extent of Alex's power. No, they still hadn't seen the full extent of it. Even a formidable adversary like Apocalypse was utterly crushed.
Having been with Alex for so many years, they knew he was strong, but no one had fathomed the true depth of his power. This level of strength, if wielded with malevolence, would be unstoppable even with their best efforts.
"Why are you all staring at me like that? Apocalypse is done for. Shall we not head back and celebrate?" Alex chuckled, looking at the assembled Mutants.
"I was planning to go back and celebrate, but Alex, if you're so thrilled to see me in misery, why bother saving me now?" Charles shot Alex a dissatisfied glare, expressing his frustration.
Alex couldn't help but chuckle at Charles's anger. Despite Alex's formidable abilities, their forty-plus years of friendship stood as an unbreakable bond.
"I saved you first, and you're fine now. But when it comes to rescuing those students in your school, things might get dicey. Besides, seeing you in a bit of a panic is quite entertaining," Alex remarked, shrugging casually. He then turned his attention to Charles, who looked both embarrassed and exasperated.
"You asshole," Charles chuckled, shaking his head. He couldn't help but inquire, "You mentioned something about my students. What happened?"
"This isn't the best place for a chat. Let's head to my place. I'll have the servants prepare dinner, and we can catch up," Alex suggested with a slight smile, keeping it brief.
"Join us," Alex added, glancing at the three knights of Apocalypse who stood nearby.
"But... we were enemies not long ago," Storm expressed disbelief.
"We are of the same kind brothers and sisters. You haven't made any irredeemable mistakes. Even if it was all because of Apocalypse, come on!" Alex smiled, extending a hand to Storm.
