Chapter 118: Chapter 118: Blindly Named
Wu Chen was not one to idle away his time; he didn't have much leisure time to spare. Even though he closed his food truck early, he wouldn't be loafing around at home. Instead, he would continue practicing his Wind Style Ninjutsu and further develop his relationship with Kurama. There was no such thing as being too proficient in Wind Style's lethal techniques. As for Kurama's chakra mode being stuck in the first stage, that didn't align with Wu Chen's plans. It needed to reach the second stage, much like Minato Namikaze's. There was much for Wu Chen to do, so he didn't have time to waste on Tony.
Seeing Wu Chen's response, Tony gestured for Pepper to pause, then said to Wu Chen, "Wu, I called you here today for another very important matter."
"What important matter?" Wu Chen's heart skipped a beat, feeling nervous.
"Don't be nervous; it's quite simple for you," Tony reassured him, then asked, "What's your favorite color? Answer immediately, no hesitation!"
"Gold!" Wu Chen replied instinctively, then wondered, "Why are you asking? Are you going to buy me clothes or something?"
Tony smirked mysteriously, "Haha, something like that! You'll find out soon enough!"
"But, Wu, your preferences are similar to mine; you really have great taste!" Tony boasted habitually.
Tony played coy, and Wu Chen didn't have any curiosity to probe further, saying, "Alright, alright! Is there anything else?"
"Yes, in a couple of days, there will be the Formula One Grand Prix in Morocco. Would you like to go?" Tony invited, "It's perfect for celebrating my double rebirth."
Tony, being wealthy, celebrated by traveling abroad. However, Wu Chen found it strange, "Double rebirth?"
"One rebirth is my health issue," Tony confirmed one of Wu Chen's suspicions, then paused before revealing the other, "The other rebirth is finding a new element and upgrading the energy source of my Iron Man suit!"
"My suit and I are one; with the suit having a new energy source, it's like I've been reborn, right?"
"Is that it?" Wu Chen blinked.
"That's right, will you go?"
"No! I have other commitments. I can't neglect my customers; selling burgers every day is my commitment!" Wu Chen shook his head, relieved internally that he didn't make rash judgments about Tony earlier. This friend was kept intact!
"Really not going?" Tony still wanted to invite, but Wu Chen firmly refused, "Such celebrations are best enjoyed with your most important people. Bringing in others will only make it awkward."
"Alright then," seeing Wu Chen's persistence, Tony didn't push, "But tomorrow's Stark Industries Expo, you must come! Here, take this VIP seat ticket!"
"What? It starts tomorrow?" Wu Chen was surprised, "Didn't you say yesterday that time was running out? Also, if the expo is tomorrow, when are you going to Morocco?"
Tony waved his hand, saying, "I realized yesterday that sometimes imperfection is the best. As for the expo, I only need to be there for the opening and closing ceremonies; there's no need for me to stay there the whole time."
"Got it! I'll be there," Wu Chen agreed. This invitation was too easy to accept.
As Wu Chen took the ticket and seat pass, Tony invited again, "Are you really not coming to Morocco with us? Perhaps I can let you drive an F1 car!"
Wu Chen shrugged, "Nope, my Flying Thunder God Technique is faster than anything!"
After showing off a bit, leaving Tony gnashing his teeth, Wu Chen left Stark Tower feeling satisfied. Back at home, he resumed his training methodically.
On the other hand, after nearly a morning's drive, Coulson and Minato Namikaze finally arrived in New Mexico, in the small town known as "Human Paradise."
To be honest, after seeing the town in person, Minato Namikaze felt that the name "Human Paradise" was completely blind. This town looked like any other remote town on the outskirts of a desert. With few residents and only a few dozen households, there was only one main street in the shopping district. However, foot traffic was not low at all. This was normal because there were always curious onlookers everywhere. The incident of the hammer falling from the sky had attracted residents from dozens of kilometers around, all wanting to come and see if the hammer really couldn't be lifted.
After parking the car, Coulson bought lunch for himself and Minato Namikaze, then during lunch, he contacted the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents stationed there. Due to the hammer incident, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had already taken control of the area and set up camp, effectively becoming the dominant force there. Minato Namikaze needed to find the sealing desert for the One-Tail, and those S.H.I.E.L.D. agents could help.
